Disney is associated with anyone's childhood and nostalgia is a key part in their success.

Changes:

- Animation style has adapted from frame to frame, to 3d models and even adaptations with real people.

- Casted more diverse characters over time (ethnicity, race, religion, gender, sexuality etc.)

- Movement into colour from black and white is key part in Disney's development.

- Iconic castle introduced in 1985

- Mascots change over time: primarily mickey → figment?

- Disney + launched in late 2019, streaming service - vertical integration, company owns several parts of media progress. Several segments of Walt Disney accessed business wise.

- horizontal integration + companies merging or expanding for more profit (Disney + Star Wars)

- Several companies are now within the Disney umbrella; hence the variety of logo's.

Disneyland was opened on July 17th, 1955. After Walt was unsatisfied with what he had already accomplished and despite Snow White being the first staple full length animation and winning several awards. Walt even said Disneyland would never be completed as long as there was imagination left in the world, that statement remains true today. Disneyland is a booming success with even more popularity than it once had in 1955.
